Agent is not running as the current user

"Your agent may be running as the current user, and since the user has no access, the agent won't be able to do anything.
Try setting the agent to 'Run on behalf of' a particular user. That way the user won't have access to any documents, but the agent will."

- No, my agent is not set to "Run as the Web user".

I want users (not just one) to be able to access and run this agent ONLY if they have a particular role.

However, I would like to give them access to this agent only... and nothing else.

I thought that by setting users to "No Access" with "Read Public", "Write Public" and the "[AccessAgent]" role in combination with the Agent set to "Allow public access" with the "All readers and above" unchecked and the "[AccessAgent]" role checked, that would work... but it doesn't.

I have to give them depositor or reader access...

Am I missing something?
Thanks!
